Following the AEW Revolution 2025 event, Tony Khan, the President of AEW, interacted with the media in a scrum. He used this opportunity to share his opinion of the pay-per-view event and mentioned if AEW could possibly make a return to LA, CA. He expressed,
“The debut in the Crypto.com Arena and my first experience here has been outstanding. We’ve previously had terrific shows in LA, but this was our first in this specific arena. I’m highly appreciative of the collaborations and partnerships we had here. This venue is historic, one of the world’s most influential sports arenas – and our debut here has been a prosperous one for the company.”
Conversation continued with Khan sharing, “This event saw one of our largest crowds and was arguably one of our best pay-per-views from beginning to end. The venue was a total hit for us. We recently had Grand Slam Australia, but this venue tonight simply knocked it out of the park. I thoroughly enjoyed being here, and the event turned out great. For this reason, I’m truly appreciative to the Crypto.com Arena and its promoters, and I eagerly look forward to returning.”
Khan further spoke, “The main event was spectacular without a doubt, featuring premier level wrestlers. Our AEW Grand Slam Australia event saw a lineup of terrific episodes and anticipating next steps, I feel the main event was indeed fantastic. Tonight, they delivered an outstanding, amazing match. The storyline was credible and the match is certainly equipped for main eventing, similar to our event in Australia. After reviewing, I can sincerely say that AEW Revolution has become one of my favourite shows. Unfortunately, Toni Storm wasn’t able to join us due to injuries sustained in the match. However, the crowd rallied behind Swerve following the surprising moment. The crowd’s support for Swerve was commendable, but not surprising. On reflection, this was an amazing show where multiple matches could have been the main event – especially the last four. Knowing that Swerve was the number one contender and waiting for his moment, I knew the crowd would be excited to see him close the show.”
