On Wednesday, in a media interaction held to advance the Saturday’s AEW WrestleDream 2024 pay-per-view spectacle, AEW President Tony Khan expressed his thoughts on AEW landing on HBO Max the following year. He views this as an “enormously significant” milestone for his organization.
The following are some paramount highlights from the conference conversation:
Reflecting on Max’s live-streaming of AEW PPVs, Khan stated, “A few of these aspects are yet to be launched and I prefer collaborating with Warner Brothers Discovery in the release of this information. Nevertheless, it’s thrilling that when Max develops the pay-per-view features, which it’s currently not equipped for, we’ll significantly contribute to the pay-per-view.”
Regarding HBO Max’s simultaneous broadcast of Dynamite and Collision, Khan shared, “In the new year, Max will begin broadcasting Dynamite and Collision [via simulcast], which I believe would provide enormous prospects for wrestling fans to watch live on Max. With over 260 episodes of Dynamite and more than a year of successful Collision, it’s an exciting prospect to have the entire collection available for streaming on a fantastic platform such as Max.”
