Tony Khan, president of AEW, has indicated that the company is on the brink of revealing what he refers to as the “most important announcements” in its history. He made this known in a recent Twitter post.
In the tweet, he expressed gratitude to all AEW followers as the company finds itself at a historical moment with the #AEWAllIn event in London at the Wembley Stadium weeks ahead, and the impending critical company disclosures.
Currently, AEW is involved in media rights discussions with Warner Bros. Discovery.
On an unrelated note, Bryan Keith expressed during his appearance on the “Talk Is Jericho” podcast, that despite his training at Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling school, he was never on WWE’s radar, for whatever reason. Keith, who’s now signed with AEW, admitted that as a child, he favored WWE above WCW, but in his later years found himself attracted to the Japanese professional wrestling style. Despite dissuasion from his parents, he prioritized a career in Japan, which he was able to accomplish at the beginning of this year.
