On his personal wrestling Mount Rushmore: “For me, it’s a great question, I would say Ricky Steamboat, Steve Austin, Ric Flair, and Bret Hart.”
On Bret Hart: “He’s a very classy person when you meet him in real life, and he’s one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. In person, he’s a real gentleman, too. So he lives up to his reputation as one of the greats, Bret Hart. Amazing, amazing person. It was great to have Bret Hart be the first person ever to pull the AEW World Championship out of the bag at the first-ever Double or Nothing.”
Speaking of Tony Khan, he came out during AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam to ask the fans, “Do you think this would be a good venue someday for a pay-per-view?”
The live audience all chanted “Yes!” and Khan responded, “Duly noted. I think that would be a very interesting idea, and I also think we built a really great tradition here with AEW Grand Slam.”
Khan then thanked the fans and commented about the importance of doing a show in New York City, noting, “I think this would be an awesome place to do a pay-per-view someday.”
