AEW President Tony Khan and World Champion MJF had a “serious conversation” over an incident that took place at Sunday night’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view event.

During his title match against Bryan Danielson, MJF made his way into the crowd and took what appeared to be an adult beverage from a female fan before throwing it at a child. A video of the incident can be seen below:

Speaking during the post-AEW Revolution press conference, Khan addressed the incident, stating:

“Before we came up here, we had a serious conversation and I mean that. It’s not to be taken lightly. The young man Titus was a real pro about it. We’ll see Titus again in AEW. I believe Titus is actually coming to Sacramento. I was just with him, he was a real champ about it. The champion didn’t act like a champion there. I think Titus was great.”

Defending himself at the press conference, MJF said that the “kid looked thirsty.” MJF then commented once more, saying, “Salt of the Earth, that Titus. Real worried about him.”

It’s being reported that Titus was originally “very upset,” and it is believed that MJF’s actions were not a pre-planned part of the show. Amanda Huber actually wound up coming out and brought Titus and his family to the backstage area to try and smooth things over – giving them free merchandise and tickets to an upcoming event in Sacramento, CA. Titus was also able to meet many of his favorite AEW wrestlers.

MJF retained his AEW World Championship in the main event of Revolution, defeating Danielson in AEW’s first Iron Man match.
