AEW Rampage debuts tonight on TNT and will feature a four-man booth of Excalibur, Chris Jericho, Taz, and WWE Hall of Famer “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry. When the booth was announced, some fans raised concerns that it might be a little too crowded, but Tony Khan has now clarified the situation.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio earlier this week, Tony Khan spoke in-depth about the AEW Rampage commentary team. Specifically pointing out Mark Henry, who will have multiple roles on the weekly broadcast:

“Well, it’s going to be a four-man booth for part of the show, but not exactly. It’s not always going to be a four-man booth,” Tony Khan said. “We’re gonna have four hosts to the show, but because of Busted Open, Mark [Henry] is in a really unique position. I think he’s a great host a great interviewer, so I’m gonna have Mark roving. He’s going to stay on his toes because I think he’ll be out there with the guys and calling some of the action but also, we’ll call Mark into duty.

“He’s going to do some interviews, some sit-downs, and we’ll get different perspectives from Mark, so he’ll be all over the place during the show, and we’ll get a lot of facetime, and we’ll hear from him a lot. So I think we’ll see different positions, so there’ll be times where I think it will be a three-man booth. There might be other times where Jericho would be wrestling, and then Mark would be in the booth. I think we’d want him there, and I think there’ll be times where it’ll be a three-man booth and times with a four-man, but we really have like four hosts to the show, is how I would say.”
