AEW President Tony Khan visited Paris, France, recently. His trip took place over the Olympic weekend and involved scheduled meetings with Warner Bros. Discovery executives. After his meeting, Khan took to Twitter to express optimism about the future of AEW following his dialogue with Warner Bros. Discovery’s David Zaslav among others.
Khan’s tweet read, “Thank you, Mr. David Zaslav + @WBD for hosting me in Paris on this memorable trip! This is an exciting time, and the future of @AEW appears very bright! Don’t miss out on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite tomorrow on TBS. We had a series of exceptional Wednesdays in July, and we’re starting August on a high!”
In other wrestling news, Mike Bailey will participate in a qualifying match for the Ultimate X match in the upcoming episode of TNA Impact. The present X-Division Champion, Bailey, foregoes his title if he ends up losing the match. The upcoming episode of TNA Impact on AXS TV will feature matches including Mike Bailey vs. Trent Seven vs. Jake Something, KC Navarro vs. Zachary Wentz, among others.
