Coming up is the flagship event of AEW, All In: Texas, scheduled for Saturday, July 12. This is touted as the most important show of the year for AEW, akin to WrestleMania. On this very day, WWE has scheduled two parallel events themselves – NXT Great American Bash and WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The latter is set to showcase the ultimate match of Bill Goldberg.
In a dialogue with WFAA recently, Tony Khan, the President of AEW, presented his views on WWE lining up events concurrently. Khan was dismissive of the competition, emphasizing that his primary concern is providing top-notch wrestling for AEW followers. He expressed,
“We’re going to put on a great event. We have to focus on putting on the best show we can with the best wrestlers in the world. That’s what we’re doing next Saturday afternoon. We’re very focused on AEW and our fans, and I think staying in that mindset has really helped us thrive.”
