Tony Khan Comments On Rick Ross Appearing In AEW, Would Love For Him To Appear More

During a recent appearance on the Midday with Chad Hastings and Zay Collier podcast, AEW President Tony Khan expressed his desire to see hip-hop artist Rick Ross appear more frequently in AEW.

Rick Ross had a constant presence on AEW television towards the end of 2022 as he was part of the feud between Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee. Ross was also associated with Swerve and the Mogul Affiliates.

Tony Khan on Ross: “Rick Ross is a tremendous talent. I’m very excited that Rick Ross has taken an interest in AEW. He’s a great person. He’s really been kind to me, personally, and he’s been a great friend to AEW. We love when he comes to the show and gets involved. You never know when the biggest boss Rick Ross is going to show up in AEW. It could happen at any time.”

On how you never know who will show up in AEW: “That’s one of the great things about the show that we have going for us. That’s one of the reasons why I love the show every week, people never know what to expect, and you never know who is going to show up. Rick Ross is one of our best cameos of all-time. I think he could do more than a cameo, I think he could certainly be involved more often. I would love for that to happen.”
