During a recent guest appearance on the “Battleground Podcast,” Tony Khan, the President of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), shared his experiences working with the professional wrestler Ricochet. Khan stated,
“One of the wrestlers in our locker room that isn’t very popular and someone I admire for his wrestling skills but he proves hard to collaborate with, is the unique character Ricochet. He has managed to seize the attention of our fans and he undoubtedly excels in his wrestling finesse. Even though working with him can be a challenge, I still relish it because he is an exceptional talent in the ring. He maintains a top-notch fighting shape and I think he’s an excellent wrestler; though he might not be the best person around.”
Also, during his recent rendezvous with the “Johnny I Pro Show,” professional wrestler Josh Alexander showered accolades on TJP. He expressed,
“The key takeaway from my 60-minute Iron Man match against TJP is that TJP, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated globetrotting wrestlers even today. It truly surprises me that he is not garnering millions just training professional wrestlers or performing himself on some platform! That’s how proficient this guy is in the ring. He is akin to a magician and I have gained vast knowledge from him.”
During his recent interaction on the “Johnny I Pro Show,” Steve Maclin revisited the time when Madison Rayne coordinated his match with Trey Miguel at TNA Hard to Kill 2022. He recollected,
“Trey Miguel and I had our first pay-per-view at Hard To Kill and that is one of my most cherished matches I’ve had in TNA. Madison Rayne was guiding us, she was not too controlling and we had our own space. For the first time in my career, having been in NXT and now, nodding in agreement with Josh, gaining that confidence when I go out there… Trey (and I) decided a match and I proposed one thing – a high-impact start with me doing a dive. We cleared it and weren’t bothered about the time, we both gave it our all. Trey is a talented wrestler and it’s always enjoyable to wrestle with him but for me, it was exciting to team up with a lightweight who can do a lot because then I can match his intensity and control the tempo of the match as per my wish. After the match, I felt satisfied, knowing that this is the kind of professional wrestling I wanted to do. My heart was filled with joy when the boss shook my hand and said, ‘Hey, good job.’”
