News of Brock Lesnar’s free-agency broke on August 31st, 2020. In the time since then, everyone in the Combat Sports world from the UFC to AEW began discussing what Lesnar could potentially be doing in his future.
AEW President Tony Khan was asked about Lesnar’s free agency during the media call that preceded AEW All Out and while he couldn’t comment on negotiations with Lesnar, Tony Khan would praise Brock Lesnar’s ability as a worker and call him underrated for his ability as a big man in wrestling.
“I can’t comment on that at this time, but I’ve enjoyed Brock’s work for many years. He’s a great fighter and a great wrestler. I don’t think people talk enough about what a great worker Brock Lesnar is. He is one of the great working big men I’ve ever seen, one of the great athletes in the history of the wrestling business. I have so much respect for him. But yeah, I couldn’t comment on that.”
AEW All Out will take place live on pay-per-view tonight. WrestleZone’s live coverage of the event will begin at 7 p.m. Eastern.
