During the AEW All In 2023 post-show media scrum, Tony Khan made it a point to directly address the backstage physical confrontation between CM Punk and Jack Perry following Perry’s match on the ‘Zero Hour’ pre-show, where he took a dig at Punk.

The confrontation happened just before Punk’s match against Samoa Joe, which opened the actual pay-per-view. TK did not mention the names involved and refused to field questions about the incident at the very start of the scrum, but he did acknowledge the incident as follows,

“I can’t comment on it, at this time, beyond what I’m about to say. Yes, there was an incident backstage before we went live on tonight’s show. We’re investigating it and until I learn more about what happened, I can’t really address it at this time, so I can’t comment, but I did wanna’ be honest with you and tell you that is the case.”

Reportedly, Perry was sent home shortly after the confrontation.
