During a recent visit to the “MuscleManMalcolm” podcast, Tony D’Angelo disclosed the wisdom he received from CM Punk, primarily the suggestion to distance oneself from social media.
D’Angelo elucidated that he places higher importance on pleasing his boss than satisfying a random internet stranger.
Recalling his conversation with CM Punk, D’Angelo expressed, “Cena made an appearance and had a discussion with the entire roster, imparting practical advice. CM Punk is always accessible and routinely around. He invests time in monitoring videos and informing us what to practice and what to avoid. He guided me not get entangled with social media…not to pay attention to it. When you’re in the public eye, a multitude of individuals constantly criticize everything you do. To be honest, I haven’t been affected at all yet, in fact I find it somewhat amusing to observe people dislike others for no explicit reason. I predict that at some stage in my career, I will be agitated. But I firmly believe that many should heed this advice to avoid unnecessary stress. Social media predominantly consists of people whom you will likely never encounter, just sitting back and passing judgement. Ultimately, they’re not funding your livelihood. It’s crucial to focus on whether your boss is contented, or a random character like wrestlingfan213. Personally, pleasing the boss takes precedence.”
