Wrestler, Toni Storm showed enthusiasm towards her upcoming match against Mina Shirakawa at AEW Double or Nothing 2025 event. Shirakawa secured this opportunity by emerging victorious in an Eliminator Match against Storm, Skye Blue, and AZM on the recent Dynamite episode aired on Wednesday night. After the event, Storm expressed her feelings in a post-event video, available below.
During a reflection on the announcement, Storm commented,
“Indeed, the compelling aspect of spiritual reminders from my past is — their captivating attractiveness. My adorably voluptuous darling, if the need to reconnect was there, you just had to reach out. However, I am responsible for this. I pleaded with the universe for a challenge, and in return, I’ve been graced with the Heavenly H-Cupped. If I decided to retire from wrestling, I may be satiated. Yet, I am not in this to find satisfaction — I wrestle to feel invigorated. Mina Shirakawa! Double or Nothing — let’s experience life extraordinarily!”
Meanwhile, Zach Gowen has once more made his mark in history. He is the only professional wrestler with one leg who has participated in TNA, WWE, and AEW.
In the recent episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night, Gowen crossed paths with Ricochet in an eagerly awaited match. Though Gowen couldn’t secure a win, his performance left a lasting impression.
During the course of the match, Gowen made an attempt at his signature single-legged moonsault before ultimately being subdued by Ricochet.
Subsequent to the match, Gowen utilized Twitter to express his gratitude to Tony Khan and AEW for the opportunity.
