During Saturday’s AEW Full Gear 2023 pay-per-view event, “Timeless” Toni Storm dethroned Hikaru Shida to win the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Shida attempted to hit Storm with a kendo stick at ringside. Luther attempted to stop her, only to get blasted with the kendo stick himself.

As the referee was distracted, Storm put Shida’s shoe in her tights before rolling back in the ring.

Storm delivered a German Suplex on Shida and performed a hip attack on the Japanese star with the shoe still in the back of her tights.

Storm covered Shida to win the AEW Women’s World Title.

Following the match, newest AEW talent Mariah May came out to give Storm her flowers.
