On a recent episode of the “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, retired WWE and ECW professional wrestler, Tommy Dreamer, discussed his predictions for future WWE events. He predicted that CM Punk and Drew McIntyre are likely to compete against each other in a Strap Match.

Dreamer stated, “I’m convinced they’re going to host a strap match. It could be whether the wrestlers will handle the strap, or it might involve lumberjacks, which is compelling, as it could smoothly transition into another feud. But I am assured these men are going to participate in a strap match. Strap on a pole? Anything’s possible.”

Further in the conversation, he suggested, “The feud between these two will persist. I’m certain we’ll witness another CM Punk-Drew McIntyre match. After this, I believe that’s when they should part ways and follow different directions.”

On another episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, ex-WWE Superstar Nic Nemeth, a.k.a Dolph Ziggler, shared his thoughts on Bronson Reed’s current promotion and his suggestions for WWE’s plans with Reed.

Nemeth expressed, “I believe the company needs to promote him excessively for two months. By then, casual fans will be aware of what’s going on. But you simply can’t defeat everyone in that manner. So Reed needs to face some challenge or maybe he crosses a line. For instance, he might finish Miz to a point where he is taken away in a stretcher or an ambulance.”

He also advocated for portraying Reed as a formidable force who needs to be overthrown, “Like Kurt Angle dealt with the Big Show by tranquilizing him. Reed is being portrayed as this monstrous creature, you can’t just keep it that way. However, proceeding cautiously is essential as cheering for someone who is defeating all your favorite wrestlers can easily transform into admiration.”
