In a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, professional wrestler Tommy Dreamer shared his thoughts on the meeting between Tony Khan and Shane McMahon, which took place at a private airport in Arlington, Texas earlier this week.

Discussing the get-together between Tony Khan and Shane McMahon, Dreamer said, “All I have to go by is the picture, but I don’t think much of it. Shane McMahon, with his business savvy, would be a stellar addition to AEW. He was instrumental in spearheading wwe.com, effectively introducing the internet to WWE when it was still a relatively new concept. Shane McMahon is not only a businessman, but also a valuable resource for any corporation he joins. Here I am referring not to Shane McMahon the character, but Shane McMahon the entrepreneur.”
As for the purpose of their meeting, Dreamer speculated, “Could it have been a casual lunch together? Perhaps it was a business lunch. There are all kinds of meetings – breakfast meetings, lunch meetings, dinner meetings, informal getting-to-know-you meetings, or meetings that do not lead anywhere – you just say, ‘Thank you.’ We can’t really say what the meeting was about.”
