Prior to WWE RAW’s shift to Netflix from January 6 onwards, Tommy Dreamer expresses his wish of the company commemorating its extensive history with USA Network.
In a recent iteration of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, the ECW icon voiced his aspiration for WWE to acknowledge the end of an era “goodbye.” on the USA Network.
Dreamer articulated, “I would also personally be fond of a farewell. And by a farewell, I mean a valediction to Monday Night Raw on USA. It’s been a bedrock for a multitude of wrestling aficionado, a multitude of Nation members. It has provided a plethora of moments, many of which will live in the hearts of fans forever.”
He further commented, “Not merely do wrestlers necessitate closure, but it’s crucial for wrestling fans as well.”
The forthcoming episode of RAW will mark the concluding broadcast on the USA Network, the network that has accommodated the show for the vast majority of its lifespan, with an exception of a five-year period.
The inception of WWE RAW took place on USA Network in 1993, transitioning to TNN/Spike TV in 2000, only to make its return to the USA Network in 2005. Where it has been broadcasted ever since.
