Tommy Dreamer Reacts To AEW Using Blood In Their Matches, Bobby Lashley Talks All In: Texas

Tommy Dreamer recently appeared on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, where he verbalized his acceptance of the presence of blood in wrestling matches, a feature showcased often in AEW matches.

Here are some key insights from his podcast discussion:

Dreamer’s take on AEW’s presentation of blood on TV: “The network’s acceptance is the key. If TBS is content with it, that’s the reality. I find it beneficial given the fact your competitors aren’t incorporating it. I believe as AEW, striving for distinction is essential.”

Dreamer’s view on being an unconventional option vis-a-vis WWE: “The moment the Attitude Era was introduced and WWE started assimilating [ECW’s] concepts, we diversified—transitioned to traditional wrestling or Lucha [Libre]. We didn’t focus on extreme content but accepted the spontaneous occurrence of blood. My advice—don’t emulate others, find your unique niche. Yes, be aware of market trends but integrate it in a way that you retain your originality. That’s the recipe for sustained success.”

Meanwhile, Bobby Lashley exhibits his enthusiasm for the upcoming AEW All In: Texas pay-per-view event, scheduled for July 12, 2025.

During an interaction with Stew Myrick of “Sports Guys Talking Wrestling” at Monday’s Countdown to On Sale event, Lashley revealed his aspiration to headline the event. He shared,

“The anticipation is exhilarating. Today marked my first visit to the stadium and the prospect of selling out this magnificent arena is humbling. This is our goal at AEW, not just to host a successful event but to mark our growth, our progression, by selling out that stadium.”

He added, “Now that Dallas is my home, I would love to headline All In, an event so close to home. Filling up that stadium will be a testament to our collective efforts here at AEW, especially for The Hurt Syndicate, as a proud addition to the AEW roster.”
