WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley recently expressed his thoughts on the recent attack on Jade Cargill during his interview on the “Women’s Wrestling Talk” podcast. He goes on to suspect that Bayley might be behind the incident given her history and behavior.
He said, “I wouldn’t be surprised if maybe it was Bayley. You never know. Let’s not forget, Bayley is not above taking on a villainous persona and indulging in such activities. We’ve all been witness to instances in the past where Bayley has shown her mean and vicious side.”
Moreover, Dudley lends some speculation into the matter, “Who’s to say that she didn’t attempt to earn that spot? We’ll see what unravels. Like always, the storyline will reveal itself as time passes.”
In his latest appearance on the “Wrestling Life” podcast, D-Von Dudley addressed the possibility of a comeback inside the ring.
“Here’s my take. When you participate in one match, everyone cries for another and it goes on until your lifecycle [laughs]. But I’m not totally dismissing the possibility. There are some discussions about things taking shape, whether it’s here in the states or maybe in Japan. At this point, these are only discussions. Nothing is concrete yet.”
Additionally, he refuted the rumors about an alleged conflict with Bubba Ray Dudley/Bully Ray, “Speaked factually, don’t assume another match is on the horizon. I’m merely admitting there were whispers and discussions. I also want to publicly deny the continuous rumors about a feud between me and Bubba. It’s false. Bubba and I are in a great place. Stop instigating rumors. Just be quiet. Bubba and I are fine.”
He further adds, “There’s no animosity whatsoever. We have a strong bond that’s akin to brothers where we stand together against outsiders. We can criticize each other, however, dare not anyone else do the same. Bubba and I share a good relationship that has always been solid and will always be. The Dudley Boyz legacy is as enduring as we want it to be.”
Meanwhile, on the “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, ECW legend Tommy Dreamer made predictions about Finn Balor’s fate during the upcoming matches. He predicted that Finn Balor wouldn’t only lose at Saturday Night’s Main Event but also drop the World Tag Team Titles on Monday Night RAW.
Dreamer asserted, “If I could peer into my crystal ball, I’d predict that Finn Balor won’t emerge victorious at the Saturday Night’s Main Event. I expect him to face another blow on Monday where he and JD McDonagh would lose the tag team titles, hence introducing a new tag team champion — absolutely a pack of vikings.”
