On a recent episode of “Busted Open Radio”, former wrestler Tommy Dreamer weighed in on the recent WWE NXT. He shared his criticisms and insights, particularly regarding the Last Chance Iron Survivor Qualifying Match for women, which spotlighted Wren Sinclair, Kelani Jordan, Jaida Parker, and Cora Jade.

Specifically, Dreamer shared his dissatisfaction with the inconclusive nature of the match’s result.

A summary of Dreamer’s thoughts from the podcast can be found below:

Concerning the qualifying match, Dreamer said, “I found [the Women’s Last Chance Match] compelling. Each participant excelled. Everything was precise. However, I disliked how the match ended. Wren Sinclair received enthusiastic applause. I believe someone should have won clearly and decisively.”

Regarding WWE NXT’s over-reliance on external interferences for outcomes Dreamer opined, “They persist in depending on this fallback strategy, and I felt detached from that. With such talented women [they could’ve achieved more]. Repeatedly relying on scenarios we’ve already seen undermines their shock value.”

Additionally, fellow commentator Bully Ray expressed his evaluations on the NXT Women’s Division. He stated, “What I can confirm is this; the women’s division in NXT has been absolutely phenomenal. They’re stepping up their game. Could I venture to state they’re the backbone of the brand? The performances have been commendable across the board, but the women’s division is particularly outstanding. The inclusion of Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Zaria… has tremendously enhanced the value of this division. Each one is as proficient as the other.”
