During a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, wrestling legend and ECW icon Tommy Dreamer shared his views on why WWE should pay more attention to Otis and enable him to have a more prominent role.
The podcast episode provided some key highlights, outlined below:
Discussing the portrayal of Otis in WWE, Dreamer stated, “I really can’t comprehend why Otis doesn’t get more limelight. Personally, I am a big fan of Otis, and so are the audience. He receives exceptional responses … viewers connect with him in an odd way precisely because he’s extremely enjoyable to watch. Perhaps it’s because he doesn’t resemble your typical WWE performer.”
Dreamer shared his insights about Otis’s abilities as well, saying, “I’ve seen him in action. I’ve seen him perform his role … They have this amazing performer at their beck and call. He possesses everything I’d look for in a person who could be propelled to stardom.”
However, despite his talents, Otis was unable to claim the title from NXT North American Champion Oba Femi in the competition held last Tuesday.
