Tommy Dreamer was a big fan of Wardlow’s match with Samoa Joe on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Speaking on a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Dreamer commented on Wardlow coming up a bit short in his attempt to capture the AEW World Championship from Joe.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On Wardlow’s loss to Samoa Joe: “Where are they going to go from there with Wardlow, he kind of let the new leader down. [I] Enjoyed the match, I really did. There was a lot of moments there where I was like are they actually going to put the title on Wardlow, which is what I want to see when I watch professional wrestling. I don’t want to know an outcome or a finish.”

On the Undisputed Kingdom needing to address the loss: “Build to that, build to this group who all have championships be like, ‘You, dude, we all have champions and you don’t,’ and then have the cult leader, ‘hold on guys’ and then he finally puts it on Wardlow. Whether Wardlow wins or Wardlow fails, then you have to face repercussions.”

Will Ospreay defeated Konosuke Takeshita at the AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event, and he recently appeared on the “Talk Is Jericho” podcast to give his thoughts on the match, taking a brainbuster from the top rope, and more.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On how he felt going into the match: “I feel like the pressure was on this time around. When everyone’s talking it up and talking about that free agency and then coming over here is like, ‘Alright now, what have you got?’ But I was nervous man, I can’t tell you enough I was getting the jitters, but I felt I did the best that I physically could do out there and I loved every single minute of it.”

On taking the brainbuster from the top: “My ass hurt so much. [The bruise] is the size of a basketball.”
