In a new episode of the “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, Tommy Dreamer shared his insights on the escalating internal dispute within Imperium and WWE’s hints towards a possible rift between World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser.
Dreamer commented on WWE’s hints at Imperium’s potential dissolution during Raw: “Seems like Kaiser and GUNTHER are at subtle loggerheads. If there were any overarching theme in tonight’s episode, it leans towards hinting at possible splits.”
He also discussed the WWE’s portrayal of the growing friction between GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser: “Stepping back from a fight can speak volumes about a wrestler’s intentions. Damian Priest certainly looks like a tough competitor, yet what is the response from GUNTHER? He chooses to retreat from the ring while his teammate… he just endures a defeat.”
The upcoming WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 will feature GUNTHER defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest.
