Tommaso Ciampa Tells Johnny Gargano He’s ‘The Better Man,’ Gets Brutally Attacked By Killer Kross

Tonight’s NXT ended in chaotic fashion, as a victory by Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher was overshadowed by the arrival of Killer Kross, who promptly took out Tommaso Ciampa.

Following the match, Ciampa was seen backstage, where he said that he was done with Johnny Gargano after their match last week, with Ciampa acknowledging Gargano was the better of the two. However, someone grabbed Ciampa from behind, causing the camera to get knocked down.
After some tussling is heard, Ciampa drops to the ground, and a woman can be seen walking into frame. From there, Killer Kross drops down next to Ciampa, simply saying ‘Tick, tock” as the night ends.
