Todd Grisham has attributed his lackluster response to Christian’s comeback on WWE to orders from Vince McMahon, as per the ex-commentator’s claim.
During 2009, after a nearly four-year gap, Christian rejoined the WWE, although Grisham’s uninspired response to his return, vocalized as “It’s Christian”, seemed wanting.
On the social media platform, Twitter, Grisham clarified that his lack of enthusiasm for Christian’s return stemmed from McMahon’s directive to offer an unexcited response.
AEW President Tony Khan, upon noticing this explanation, expressed astonishment over McMahon’s desire for a subdued acknowledgement.
This is insane.

Christian stayed with WWE until 2021, making a switch to AEW in the same year where he has been a former recipient of the TNT, Trios, and Tag Team Championships.
Presently, courtesy of his AEW All In Casino Gauntlet match triumph, Christian Cage possesses a secured AEW World Championship shot.
