Alan Angels, a prestigious pro-wrestler, has declared a temporary halt to his wrestling career for the remainder of the year due to a knee-related ailment. In the previous month, Angels had notified fans about missing an upcoming event at Prestige Wrestling, as a result of his ACL trauma.
Angels took to the social media platform Twitter to share an update about his condition. His tweet read,
“Unfortunately, last month I sustained a minor knee injury. It’s a bit more severe than assumed initially and hence I will not be able to participate in all my forthcoming shows for the remaining year, which unfortunately includes TNA in Atlanta this weekend. It’s a disappointing way to conclude 2024, a year I consider the pinnacle of my wrestling career to date. Thankfully, no surgical intervention is required and with any luck, I’ll bounce back completely by the arrival of 2025! Until then, sayonara!”
We echo the wrestling community’s sentiment in wishing Angels the very best for an expedient and complete recovery.
Meanwhile, on the west coast, notable wrestlers like Zack Sabre Jr, Konosuke Takeshita, Gabe Kidd, El Desperado, and Maika have been declared for a high-octane wrestling event – the NJPW Battle In The Valley. The event is all set to unfold on January 11th, 2025 in the sunny city of San Jose, California.
