Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones, the former NFL athlete who also wrestled for TNA, was arrested on Monday morning following an incident at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

According to a report from ESPN, the police responded to a report of an “unruly passenger” at 6:00 AM on Monday morning and Jones was arrested.

Jones was booked on misdemeanor counts of alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, and terroristic threatening.

Jones was held at Boone County Jail and later released. The former NFL star was reportedly arrested before takeoff and taken to the detention center.

Upon his release, Jones told WKRC-TV that he had asked to be moved to another seat, as the phone charger for the two seats he’d purchased wasn’t functioning.

Jones was informed that the aircraft would have to be turned around as he “vehemently” denied being intoxicated while also denying his terroristic threats.

Jones said after leaving the jail, “I’m hurt, this is embarrassing.”

Jones signed with TNA during a period where he was suspended from NFL for a year and won the TNA World Tag Team Championships with Ron Killings.

The Tennessee Titans later issued a restraining order on Jones to prevent him from working for TNA as he was still under contract with them, and an agreement was worked out where he would not take any physical hits. WWE Superstar Xavier Woods (formerly Consequences Creed) became part of the team.
