Rohit Raju, the former TNA X-Division Champion, is slated to appear at the Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s ‘Forged In Excellence’ event, scheduled for October 19th and 20th in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The key matchups for these nights also comprise of Konosuke Takeshita versus Mike Bailey and Josh Alexander.
Also, there will be appearances from innumerable wrestling stars such as Mike Bailey, Trevor Lee, Raj Dhesi, KUSHIDA, Kylie Rae, QT Marshall, Miyu Yamashita, and El Phantasmo. Moreover, the yet to be announced night will showcase the ROH Women’s World Championship with Athena and Gisele Shaw vying for the belt.
In other news, TNA Wrestling has confirmed that their TV tapings before Bound For Glory will occur at Skyway Studios in Nashville, TN, with proceeds going towards relief work for Hurricane Helene. These tapings will be part of the ‘The Road to BFG’ event being held on October 2nd and 3rd. As per the announcement, TNA Wrestling will host final matches in Nashville, Tennessee, with tickets priced at each and all revenue going to support the relief efforts.
The tapings in Nashville will feature all the TNA stars, generating anticipation for the final clashes before Bound For Glory in late October. Noteably, the Spartanburg shows which were scheduled for September 27-28 had to be cancelled due to the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene, leaving many without power across the Southeast.
