In a milestone celebratory event, TNA Wrestling is joining forces with the wrestling biopic, Queen of the Ring, to pay homage to the remarkable women of wrestling, with a special emphasis on the film’s protagonist, Mildred Burke.

Rob Kligman, who holds the position of Chief Revenue Officer at Anthem Sports Group, expressed his enthusiasm for their collaboration in full spirit and said,

“TNA Wrestling is extremely proud to be partnering with ‘Queen of the Ring’ to showcase the incredible talent of women’s wrestling and the trailblazers who paved the way for generations to come. We are all about amplifying the film in the biggest and best ways possible and will feature key integrations at our upcoming Sacrifice live event on March 14 in El Paso, Texas, including branding on the ring canvas, an official match sponsorship, airing of behind-the-scenes footage, plus digital and social support. We are grateful to Ash and the entire team for the opportunity to collaborate and shine a spotlight on this incredible story.”

The Queen of the Ring director, Ash Avildsen, reciprocated similar emotions about the alliance with TNA Wrestling, stating,

“I am deeply appreciative that TNA has chosen to honor all the females from the golden era of women’s wrestling, helping bring awareness to this incredible true story. Our fearless independent spirit in the world of wrestling aligns perfectly with Mildred Burke’s pioneering contributions, and we are excited to celebrate the rich history of women’s wrestling alongside TNA.”

As a part of this promotional synergy, the biopic Queen of the Ring is set to sponsor the Knockouts Title match at the Sacrifice event, featuring Masha Slamovich and NXT’s Cora Jade.

Festivities continued on the latest episode of TNA iMPACT, where Francesca Eastwood, embodying Mildred Burke on-screen, shared her experiences of stepping into the shoes of the wrestling legend and conveyed her deep respect for the wrestling industry.
