TJ Wilson Reveals Who “Invented” Him As A Producer, Who Will Save Cody Rhodes?

TJ Wilson made a revelation on the “Developmentally Speaking” podcast about Chris Jericho seek his assistance for a 2009 match prior to Wilson serving in the capacity of a producer.

This match saw Jericho alongside Paul Wight facing off against Cryme Tyme. Wilson shared his amusement on how Jericho “created” him as a producer through this encounter. Wilson’s words were,

“Chris Jericho, known for claiming credit for originating everything, did play a role in July 2009. I was just five months old in the main roster, and I had known Chris marginally. I had been to his house when I was at FCW. Just in my fifth month on the main roster, he solicited me to produce one of his matches. So in a way, Chris gave birth to ‘TJ the producer’ [laughs].”

Wilson further added, “Even though I did not produce it, the match featured Jericho and [The Big Show] against Cryme Tyme. He approached me saying, ‘Buddy, you seem to have deciphered Cryme Tyme. Would you mind helping us?’ It amuses me to think of the number of years of experience Chris Jericho and Big Show had in 2009, let alone their vast TV/pay-per-view experience. In contrast, Tyson Kidd’s experience in August 2009? Nada. It was quite hilarious.”

Meanwhile, as WrestleMania 41 approaches, Mark Henry weighed in on Cody Rhodes standing his ground against tough rivals such as John Cena, The Rock, and possibly Travis Scott.

Henry, on the latest episode of “Busted Open Radio” podcast, stated that Rhodes doesn’t have a strong support system. In his words:

“Who stood against The Rock? Who will come to Cody’s aid? Cody has offended many people who assisted him.”

He further continued, “Cody started with Sami Zayn, progressed to Kevin Owens, and then selected Roman [Reigns]. His decision to prefer Roman Reigns [at WWE Bad Blood] over Kevin Owens wasn’t taken well. Roman is currently seeking distance from everyone. Who will stand by Cody? [CM] Punk could be there.”
