WWE’s Global Ambassador, Titus O’Neil, relishes the thrill of stepping into the wrestling ring. However, he does not envision that his life’s trajectory should only orbit around the probability of wrestling again for the company.
It has been a considerable duration since O’Neil’s last combat for WWE, yet he holds the prestigious position of being the official Global Ambassador. In this role, he forefronts the company’s charitable actions and programs globally.
During a fresh episode of the podcast “Busted Open Radio,” he opened a conversation about his potential comeback to the wrestling field and some other projects brewing in his pipeline. He declared,
“My life, it’s not centered around just being in the ring. I enjoy competing, I enjoy entertaining but honestly at this point in my life I have so many projects that are coming up with film and television, that’s an area that I’ve had a desire to go through…I’ve really sunk my teeth into hopefully having some success and a lot of success in comparison to my counterparts that have also moved into that space…Dave Bautista, John Cena, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. I want to be able to have my name in the lights with those guys not just because of my background and past with the WWE or my position with the WWE, I want to be great cause I want to be great at everything I do.”
In the year of 2022, O’Neil spilt the beans that he and WWE had engaged in talks regarding his re-entry into the ring, but he had to take time off for a knee surgery that same year.
O’Neil’s name was already etched in WWE history as Tag Team Champion and the first-ever 24/7 Champion. In 2021, he was awarded the coveted Warrior Award, succeeding the recipient of the previous year.
