Timothy Thatcher Injury Is Reportedly In Storyline Only

Yesterday, Timothy Thatcher was supposed to face Tommaso Ciampa inside the Fight Pit. However, that match was called off due to a supposed injury that Thatcher suffered while training for the match.
According to a new report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, that injury was for storyline purposes only and as was stated in the digital exclusives last night, Timothy Thatcher will eventually step into Fight Pit with Ciampa when he is cleared to do so.

Thus far, Timothy is the only winner of a Fight Pit match defeating Matt Riddle in his NXT farewell match in the summer of last year.
