Professional wrestler and SmackDown Superstar, Tiffany Stratton, carries with her a rich experience from the world of gymnastics which she maintains has significantly influenced her pro wrestling career.
In a candid dialogue with “Whitty Whittier,” Stratton delved into the ways her gymnastic history has played a role in shaping her presence in the wrestling arena. She voiced,
“Gymnastics has given me a robust foundation, teaching me invaluable lessons in hard work, coordination, and dedication. It’s offered me both physical training and mental preparedness. These virtues are indispensable in wrestling, which requires vast coordination and flexibility.”
She conveyed how her background in gymnastics facilitated her initiation into wrestling, providing her a competitive edge. “My familiarity with gymnastics has been a significant factor in my success in wrestling. At the Performance Center and on NXT TV, many talented gymnasts are excelling. Regardless of whether people acknowledge it or not, a background in athletics certainly paves the way to a successful professional wrestling career.”
The year 2021 marked Stratton’s entry into WWE NXT where she clinched the NXT Women’s Championship title in 2023. However, she eventually conceded the title to rival Becky Lynch.
The year 2024 heralded Stratton’s induction into the main roster. Among her recent appearances was her participation in the Queen of the Ring 2024 tournament.
