During the recent episode of the WWE SmackDown, three more Superstars secured their spots for the 2024 Money in the Bank ladder matches, almost finalizing the spots. A Triple Threat match in women’s division saw Tiffany Stratton pulling off a surprise victory against both Jade Cargill and Candice LeRae. Distractions by Nia Jax, Indi Hartwell and Bianca Belair, pushing Cargill into the ring post, contributed to Stratton’s win.
In a subsequent Triple Threat match, LA Knight secured triumph over rivals Logan Paul and Santos Escobar, with the help of Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks and some unfortunate intervention by Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers. LA Knight’s victory could pave the way for a future United States Championship match, perhaps at SummerSlam.
Naomi emerged victorious in another match defeating Blair Davenport and Indi Hartwell. Her victory was sweetened by Jade Cargill taking revenge on Hartwell for earlier interference.
The lineups for the two Money in the Bank ladder matches, with final spots to be settled in the subsequent WWE Raw episode, are as follows:
MEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH: Andrade, Carmelo Hayes, Jey Uso, LA Knight along with either Drew McIntyre, Sheamus or Ilja Dragunov and Chad Gable.
WOMEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH: Chelsea Green, Iyo Sky, Lyra Valkyria, Tiffany Stratton, Naomi along with either Zoey Stark, Ivy Nile or Dakota Kai.
