Tiffany Stratton Confronts Becky Lynch At WWE Payback 2023

As we previously reported here on eWn, Becky Lynch defeated Trish Stratus in their Steel Cage Match at the WWE Payback 2023 pay-per-view event.

Following the match, WWE NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton appeared during a backstage promo with Becky Lynch.

During the backstage segment, it appeared the seeds were planted for a potential match between the two women after Stratton condescendingly apologized to Lynch for calling her a “former” NXT Women’s Champion when she wasn’t ever a NXT Women’s Champion in the first place.

Lynch later told Stratton that her main focus should be on defending her title against Kiana James on next Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT. Lynch ended her promo with,

“Maybe I’ll see you soon.”
