The final participant for the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Championship tournament’s semifinals has been confirmed, with Tiffany Stratton securing her place after defeating Naomi and Elektra Lopez on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

The victory was secured when Naomi was about to win against Lopez—despite being interrupted by Candice LeRae. Stratton seized the moment, threw Naomi out of the ring, and hit her with her signature Prettiest Moonsault Ever before pinning Lopez for the victory.

The current SmackDown episode took place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, coincidentally the home city of Ms. Money in the Bank. It’s unclear if this influenced the decision for her to proceed in the tournament, though some speculate WWE may have orchestrated this deliberately.

Stratton’s win positions her against Michin in the tournament’s semifinals next week on SmackDown. The victor will then battle either Bayley or Chelsea Green in the finals at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th.
