The National Wrestling Alliance continues the rollout of their Carnyland online programming with Girl Powerrr, and the new show starts on a serious note. Wrestling has been through a lot in the past week, and the women of NWA have gotten together to try to work through it.

Thunder Rosa, Allysin Kay, and Marti Belle all discuss cyberbullying and the types of harsh language that led to last week’s loss of Stardom’s Hana Kimura. Rosa also goes into her personal relationship with Kimura.

In 2015, I traveled to Japan on my first tour, and that’s when I met [Hana’s mother]. There, she became like a mother. After I suffered a concussion, she helped me out. I was by myself in Japan, and she sent this beautiful flower, Hana. She wasn’t a wrestler, she was just a teen, super excited about life and training. She talked to me about the possibility of becoming a professional wrestler and shared her love for American music. She was the most sweetest, humble, nicest person I met.

Later on in the episode, several other NWA stars talk about ” the power words have on not only themselves but the community at large.” You can see the full episode embedded below, or listen to it as a podcast on the new Carnyland podcast channel.
