Professional wrestler Thunder Rosa showed excitement when she saw Stephanie Vaquer wearing similar face paint to hers at the Halloween Havoc event. This face paint was a trademark of the Thunder Rosa when she was the World Champion in AEW Women’s division.
During the event – NXT Halloween Havoc, Vaquer sported a half-skull design in her face paint. She joined forces with Giulia in a match against Cora Jade and the reigning NXT Women’s Champion, Roxanne Perez.
Thunder Rosa commented on Vaquer’s face paint homage on Twitter. “¡No hay nada como recibir el homenaje de tus comadres en otras promociones!♈️”, she tweeted, followed by the English translation, “Nothing beats getting some love from your friends in other promotions!♈️”.
As the game concluded at Halloween Havoc, Vaquer emerged victorious over Perez in a pinfall. Post-match, WWE NXT’s recent signee, Zaria, entered the scene and locked eyes with other new members.
Thunder Rosa’s last wrestling match was witnessed on the August 31st edition of AEW Collision. She faced a defeat in a four-way match against Hikaru Shida.
