On the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Swerve Strickland addressed feedback that he should have played a larger role on the initial episode of Dynamite, subsequent to his victorious win of the AEW World Title.

In a match against Kyle Fletcher on Dynamite, Swerve Strickland defended his title which he won from Samoa Joe at AEW Dynasty. Pertaining to this, Strickland shared his insight, “According to me, this championship reign will always progress and ascend. I am under the belief that each week will bring better things than the previous, causing a consistent upwards trajectory. I invite our audience to witness and participate in my evolution as a champion.”

On a separate note, Thunder Rosa confessed her initial struggle with live promos at the commencement of her career. In the recent “Heal Squad” podcast with Maria Menounos, Thunder Rosa discussed how she honed her promo skills throughout her journey in Lucha Underground, and more.

Giving an overview, she said, “During the first season, due to my limited English, giving live promos was a considerable challenge for me. To overcome this, I practiced public speaking and broadcasting. But above all, it was crucial that the person writing my promos understood my essence and character. This helped me make my promos come across as more natural and personalized.”

About her current promo performance, she said, “The recent promo I did was for an upcoming match for the championship. A close acquaintance of mine wrote it for me, which was then edited and guided by one of the writers, Justin Carvey.”
