Three Matches Taped For 2019 Edition Of WWE Tribute To The Troops
WWE held its 17th annual Tribute to the Troops event at Marine Corps Air Station New River and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. The company has not announced a broadcast date as of yet, although it has traditionally aired on USA Network a few weeks after taping in December. The following bouts occurred during the event:
- Erik Rowan vs. Seth Rollins in a Boot Camp Match
- Kevin Owens and Humberto Carrillo vs. Andrade and Drew McIntyre
- Asuka and Kairi Sane vs. Sarah Logan and Natalya
In addition, there were appearances by Mark Henry, Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross, and Lacey Evans. WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon had this to say about the event before it aired:
