Thom Latimer has captured the NWA National Heavyweight Championship after a fatal four-way match during the May 7, episode of NWA Powerrr.
On the show, Latimer defeated Blake Troop, Paul Burchill, and Zyon to win the title that had previously been vacated by ‘Thrillbilly’ Silas Mason.
Mason vacated the title for a shot at EC3’s NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, a stipulation similar to ‘Option C’ with TNA’s X-Division Championship.
That match also took place on the May 7, episode of NWA Powerrr and saw EC3 retain the gold. Latimer is also a former NWA World Television Champion.
