The Young Bucks closed out tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite with a huge title defense over the Variety Blonds. But they didn’t get to celebrate for long, as Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston attacked the champions. AEW then announced that the Young Bucks will defend the World Tag Team Championship against Moxley and Kingston at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

During the match itself, the Young Bucks relied on dastardly antics that the challengers, the Varsity Blonds tried to rally against, including various distractions and the use of spray. Toward the end of the match, Matt Jackson shockingly grabbed the spray and blasted Julia Hart in the face with it to drop her off the apron and back to the floor. He then locked the Sharpshooter onto Brian Pillman, which allowed Nick Jackson to remove Griff Garrison from the equation.

Back inside the ring, Pillman had no choice but to tap out, giving The Young Bucks a win and another title defense. After the match, though, Moxley and Kingston slid into the ring and beat down The Young Bucks. Moxley and Kingston even stole the champions’ expensive shoes. Following the mayhem, the AEW Dynamite commentary officially announced that Moxley and Kingston will challenge the titles at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
