The inaugural season in the relaunch of the XFL under the leadership of The Rock and Dany Garcia wrapped up last month following the championship game that saw the Arlington Renegades walk away with the trophy.

Forbes reports the league lost an estimated $60 million this year. They paid $23.5 million for it and projected $100 million in revenue, including a payment of $20 million per season by ESPN to broadcast the games.

“We’re extremely well-capitalized for the long-term,” said Garcia, the XFL’s chair. “This is our new WWE. The next massive live property.”
