There is a new contender after Sami Zayn’s Intercontinental Championship for the upcoming WWE Money in the Bank 2024. This was decided on the episode of Monday Night Raw aired on June 24th.
In a surprising turn of events, Bron Breakker found himself in a skirmish against Ludwig Kaiser, which was interrupted by Sheamus. Discontent with the disruption, Breakker overpowered both Kaiser and Sheamus, and headed straight to confront Adam Pearce backstage to question the interference in his matches.
As Breakker voiced his disappointment, he quipped that were it not for the unwarranted participation of everyone else, he would have a match against Zayn for the prestigious Intercontinental title. His complaints weren’t lost on the defending champion.
Zayn quickly walked over, assured Breakker that all he simply needed to do was state when and where he wishes for their match to happen. Without hesitation, Breakker suggested the Money in the Bank event, a proposition Zayn found compelling enough to request Pearce to make the arrangements official.
