The wrestling community mourns the loss of Sid “Vicious” Eudy, who passed away at the age of 63 on Monday following a prolonged battle with cancer.
TNA Wrestling mourned his passing, remarking Eudy was, “a true powerhouse and unforgettable force in the ring”. All Elite Wrestling added that his legacy will be remembered in the wrestling world adding their thoughts are with his family. Sting, a fellow professional wrestler, referred to Sid as “one of the most believable big men EVER”.
Ric Flair® expressed regret at Eudy’s passing, mentioning their past differences were none existent the last time they met. The Cauliflower Alley Club mourned the loss of this legend in the wrestling world and prayed for strength for his loved ones during this trying time. Other wrestling personalities such as Booker T. Huffman, Marc Mero, Jim Ross, Eric Bischoff, Diamond Dallas Page, and JakeSnakeDDT also expressed their sorrow and condolences on social media.
Sid Eudy’s career spanned several major wrestling promotions, including WWE (then WWF), WCW, and ECW. His unforgettable presence and larger-than-life persona left an indelible mark in professional wrestling. The wrestling world will certainly miss his unique style and energy.
