It’s all set in stone – Rhea Ripley is scheduled to go head-to-head with Liv Morgan in an encounter for the Women’s World Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2024. This comes after Ripley issuing a challenge during the introductory segment of the July 15th edition of Monday Night RAW.
Ripley marked her comeback to WWE only last week after a hiatus since April 15th, owing to a shoulder injury inflicted by Morgan during a backstage assault sequence. This unfortunate event compelled her to relinquish the Women’s World Championship. Now, her goal is to reclaim the title, setting the stage for the monumental pay-per-view event on Saturday, August 3rd.
Dominik Mysterio intervened in an attempt to emphasize that his involvement with Morgan isn’t as it seems, all the while Morgan taunts Ripley on the TitanTron. She not only teased about the championship, but also questioned Rhea’s intentions with “Daddy Dom” — who was disregarded by Rhea as she exited. Yet, she did not depart before looking directly into the camera to deliver a stern message to Morgan that at “SummerSlam, I not only end your revenge tour, I not only end your title reign, I’m gonna end your career. Watch me.”

Post the commercial interlude, Mysterio endeavored to appease Ripley by offering flowers and gifts in The Judgment Day’s penthouse. However, his attempts were met with rejection as she thrust it back at him while Damian Priest smirked at the unfolding scene.
