In a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Braun Strowman shared insights on the contrast between his past and present experiences in WWE.
Strowman, who made a comeback to WWE in September 2022, shed light on his transformation and outlook towards the sport from his first stint till now.
Highlights from his talk on the podcast are as follows:
Reflecting on how his previous and latest WWE stints differ, Strowman said, “After my vacation and dealing with my neck injury, I came to realize how fleeting this sport can be and its ultimate significance. It made me understand the importance of all the rigorous work that has taken me to this stage of my career. It served as a wakeup call to constantly push forward and never lose pace. The timespan to make a good impact is not very long for us, so we need to make the best out of it. Now, I ponder on how to continue building my legacy, how to advance my career even further.”
Regarding his aspirations for the ongoing stint, Strowman said, “Many people have reached the conclusion of their story. Drew McIntyre has shared about claiming this championship with nobody around but desiring to do the same in the presence of spectators. When I clinched my solo Universal Championship, it was in an empty stadium. I would love to replicate that victory but in front of 100,000 spectators.”
