The Upper Echelon is Displeased with Darby Allin’s Comeback to AEW.

Darby Allin’s decision to team up with Team AEW for the upcoming Blood & Guts match has upset The Elite.

Allin made a dramatic return to All Elite Wrestling on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, coming down from the rafters to join Team AEW in their showdown against The Elite in the forthcoming Blood & Guts match.

The executives vice presidents of AEW aired their thoughts on Allin’s return in a “Digital Exclusive” post-broadcast of AEW Dynamite.

The highlights from their reaction can be seen below:

Nicholas Jackson on the return of Darby Allin: “Our previous encounters with Sting were more than enough. Now Darby is copying his antics? It’s beyond frustrating. You thought we were angry before? Our anger has only intensified, I assure you.”

Matthew Jackson’s reaction: “What does one need to do to achieve a modicum of respect around here? We’ve been part of this from the beginning. We established the company. Yet, I feel like a stranger in my own territory. I have people descending from ceilings. I have The Acclaimed belittling their own bosses on-air. I’m slightly angered. I try not to be. I was made a laughing stock and embarrassed on national TV. Even my wife is worried, she texted me asking if I was fine. What do you expect me to say?”

Nicholas on the upcoming Blood & Guts event: “This evening was supposed to be festive. But we’re not in a celebratory mood. We’re gearing up for next week instead. Blood & Guts, you five haven’t seen the best or violent versions of us. Guess what? Hangman is on our side, and he might be the secret weapon The Elite needs.”

Jack Perry on the Blood & Guts match: “Next week in Nashville, Tennessee, it’s Blood & Guts. This hastily assembled team thinks they can beat us, The Elite? What makes The Elite formidable is that we have each other. These two, [The Young Bucks], were there for me when my supposed best friends couldn’t be bothered to check in for eight months. These two supported me, hence, no matter what transpires in those cages, I will have their back, and The Elite will emerge victorious in Blood & Guts.”
