The Undertaker, despite having a relatively small set of moves, was still capable of giving an extraordinary performance in the wrestling ring, captivating his audience.
In a fresh episode of the “WrestleRant” podcast, the celebrated WWE Hall of Famer delivered his perspective on his long-standing experience of over 30 years in the ring. He expressed,
“I mean, I had a pretty decent career with five moves. But I evoked emotion and made people care, one way or another. That’s how you become a legend.”
Calaway further pointed out that while physical prowess is critical for successful wrestlers, it loses value if the spectators fail to resonate with the wrestler’s character or storyline. In his words,
“A lot of these young wrestlers are relying so much on their athletic gifts that they’re not learning how to tell stories.”
Currently, The Undertaker utilizes his legendary status and experience in the wrestling field as one amongst the four coaching panelists of WWE LFG. Serving alongside him are Mickie James, Booker T, and Bubba Ray Dudley.
